Thanks to astounding technological advances over the past ten years, it’s never been easier to make a film. Until now, however, it’s never been more difficult for independent and foreign language films to reach their audience. Gigantic Digital levels the playing field and ushers in a new era of independent film distribution. Unknown and emerging filmmakers can now have their work made available to millions of potential viewers at once compared with the increasingly limiting prospects of a release that depends exclusively on traditional theatrical play. Beginning today, first-run feature films distributed by Gigantic Releasing will open in art-house cinemas in a limited number of major markets while at the same time opening in the rest of the country via Gigantic Digital. By significantly broadening the reach of these first-run films we hope to increase interest and awareness, and expand and reinvigorate the audience. In addition, we want to make it as simple and affordable as possible for movie-goers in every nook and cranny of America to test our waters and have access to new indie films without the usual wait.

As you experience Gigantic Digital for the first time, please keep in mind that the site has just launched and is still in 'beta' mode. We've made best efforts to iron out the kinks but inevitably a couple of pests will manage to survive the debugging process. We apologize in advance for any that you may encounter but please be assured that we'll be ironing out these lingering annoyances as quickly as possible. In addition, we've done our best to make Gigantic Digital intuitive and easy to navigate.
